How does time-locked encryption work?
Messages are encrypted using the drand distributed randomness beacon. No server controls the lock — the math does. Messages can only be decrypted after the chosen time.
Do recipients need the app?
No. Messages open in any browser.
What counts toward my 10 free messages?
Only messages you share count. Saving to your vault is free and unlimited.
What happens if my subscription lapses?
You keep all existing messages. You can't share new ones if you've used your 10 free messages.
Can I delete a message I sent?
Once shared, the link cannot be revoked. The encryption is permanent.
